What do you think about President Obama's speech about the Middle East? Should Christians war for Israel? (3070 hits)

Aaron D. Taylor, author of "Alone with A Jihadist" interview at Book Expo America with Michelle Gipson, Written Magazine from pam perry on Vimeo.

Should Israelis be allowed to keep settlements that expanded into the West Bank? Which government would get to lay claim to the natural resources, namely water, that are so prized in that region? Interested parties from across the globe have taken part in numerous meetings in an attempt to put these questions to rest and
move forward with creating a region in which two groups can peacefully co-exist. So far, the peace that has been brokered has only ever been temporary and has yet to settle decisively the key questions that must be answered in order for real progress to be made.

Pam,As a Nichiren Daishonin Buddhist I totally believe that 'thou shall not kill'. I had this belief when I practiced the Christian faith, because this was so in me, I was never able to find an excuse to over ride this commanment of God's word.

Now as far as no country can fight a war with outthe money to be able to do so...our president has only to keep his promise to the Israeli'sthat met with him not long ago in the White house that no more American tax dollars will be coming to Israel for war; I am satisfied that this will soon be over. Also, too many of the Isrealis (whose voices are only shown mostly on the C-Span chanels protesting against the buildings of more settlements means our president has a lot of help from us who do not believe in war for any reasons in this country and those in Israel to back him in his not liking killings either, of man on man...(smile)
