This story was brought to my heart, and I enjoyed reading this message of a woman that had been chose by God to do His mighty work in her. This message is a Powerful message out of the Book of [Joshua Chapter 2]. About a woman name Rehab that was a prostitute. There is a reason why this was brought to my heart. God who is my Heavenly Father wants us as a people to know that he do the chosen; to get whatever is needed to be done in His name. Next reason is because God wants us who calls ourselves His children to know that we better be very careful, very careful how we treat others. Those that has been assign to do His will. Amen! Rehab we know is a Prostitute. In some Bibles you will see the word (Harlot's). I believe we all know what a prostitute is. It should not be any surprise about this name. Some of us at one time may have called them worst names then this when yourself was in the world. Before you became so holy. We was not always children of
God. We were all created by the Creator. But many of us today still has not accepted His Son Jesus Christ into your heart. And many of us who has accepted Jesus Christ has decide not to be obedient; we have gotten out of order. I pray to God that everyone will accepted His Son before Jesus Christ [Repent]. Matthew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is near. Amen! And that many of us who has gotten out of order need to get back in order with Him. I know I had encounter prostitutes when I was living in the city many years ago. I even ran into a few that I went to school with became prostitutes. So I know many of you today may have encountered one or have seen them on the street corners. Dressed in a way that many of us would have said out of our own mouths. (How disgusting). Are you may have mum-med how could he or she can do what they are doing.. Yes today we do have male prostitute. [Ecclesiastes 3:15 says Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before; and God will call the past to account].
Years ago I was amazed about who God would call. Today I am a witness that He calls who He chose to call in His name. Hallelujah! You have to really know who God is, to understand why He does what he does. He does it with Integrity, and He does it with Love. As I was reading about Rehab this woman had heard what God had done for the children of Israel. This woman who is a prostitute heard about this Awesome God who led the children of Israel out of Egypt, and how he dried up the Red Sea. Here God told her to help the two men and hid them. I call this obedience. Something many of us are far from being. And we better get off of our proud and stop doing things our way. And start doing it Gods way. Rehab was not a Christian she was living a lifestyle that we as Christians would say is not pleasing to God, and not pleasing to us. But it was God that chose her. Many of us who has their [clicks] believe in their heart that people as Rehab can not be used by
God. How wrong you are!! Who are we to say who God will use. God shared this scripture to me one day in the book of [Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another]. After Rehab did what was instructed for her to do. All of her family was saved. God say in [Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths stright]. Let me say this: Rehab trust in the LORD; this prostitute had put her trust in the same LORD that you and I who had given our heart to. She didn't lean on her own understanding like some of us do. She had acknowledge who God was, and when it was all said and done. He made her path stright. Hallelujah!! I do hope this will be a blessing to someone Because I was bless by His word once again. I am here to be obedient to my Savior. I was not chose by man but by my LORD Jesus Christ. You to have been called out
by Jesus as well. Stand out with Boldness...I'm standing bold in the name of Jesus Christ. What about You??? Thats what Rehab the prostitute did she stood boldy and did what was command by God. She did not loose anything. She gain Life of Eternity.
Psalm 27:1-2 The LORD is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
If there be anyone out here that would like to have a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ...are someone that you know would like to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Roman 10:9-10 says That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. He is waitng for you to come to Him. Come just as you are. You need not to dress yourself up. Just come, He knows your Heart, He knows everything about you. He has His arms open for you. He died on the cross for you as well as for me. If it had been just you, He would have done it as well. In the name of Jesus Christ...Hallelujah!
