- Current RIT Bachelor's student majoring in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Due to government contract requirements candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Experience with or knowledge of practical electrical tools (ex: volt meter, multimeter)
- Desire to learn both theoretical and practical aspects of metrology as related to electronic measurements (i.e. test fixture design, measurement accuracy, test guard-bands, etc)
- Basic ability to interpret semiconductor related test documentation (i.e. military device specifications and standards documentation, commercial data sheets, application notes, etc) in order to complete characterization and screening tasks
- Experience/knowledge with Unix/Linux workstation and PC (Windows) environments; ability in relevant programming languages (i.e. C, C++, LabView, etc.)
- Basic organizational skills
- Basic ability to multitask, with some sense of time and scheduling requirements
The salary range is: $20-$27/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
