What Standards & Compliance Management contributes to Cardinal Health The Commercial Enablement organization for the Cardinal Health Pharmaceutical segment is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and services. The Standards & Compliance Management function is the quality management arm within this team, specifically ensuring the use of standard operational and decisioning approaches across the segment as well as overseeing and optimizing correct implementation of pricing decisions in alignment with strategies and commitments within customer agreements. Job Summary This role will be responsible for the administration, execution strategy, and operational excellence efforts over our customer agreement pricing compliance program. This individual will play a key role in the development of external reporting, providing more real-time visibility and driving key data insights to customer compliance performance in the pharmaceutical segment. The role will also have direct interaction with senior leaders across Business Units and will work in close partnership with key functions in the segment (e.g., Sales, Finance, and Operations) and offshore service providers. Responsibilities Expert level understanding of the Pharma Segment customer agreement compliance programs, objectives, strategies, controls, risks, and related tools and technology Supervise customer agreement pricing compliance programs across the Pharma Segment in accordance with Ts & Cs, standard processes, and SOX/business controls Support an offshore team responsible for the execution of the customer agreement pricing compliance programs and provide performance assessments and development opportunities in collaboration with the service provider leadership team Recommends and extensively collaborates with internal teams, including Pricing Controllers, Pricing Strategy, and Deal Management on modifications to existing price and execution strategies to promote greater pricing compliance accuracy and adherence and ease of implementation Leads and implements upon a wide variety of transformative and complex projects and strives to seek outcomes that maximize compliance and execution accuracy and efficiency, enhances processes and controls, and provides for better data insights Effectively and succinctly influences and communicates process changes and addresses issues while developing and maintaining lasting partnerships with leadership and adjacent teams Balance a high volume of requests and strategic priorities Process and analyze a significant volume of detail, while summarizing at the appropriate level for approvals and insights
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Operations, Project Management, or related field, preferred 5+ years of experience in a related field with leadership experience, preferred Proficiency with CCDB, SAS, MIF, CCA, SAP, Aurora, Vistex, Alteryx, EDnA, Vendavo, and Microsoft Office 365 software solutions, preferred Track record of achieving results and the ability to clearly identify and communicate a vision and strategy, problem solve, and solution Success in working closely with business and sales leaders and offshore service providers Strong project management skills and personal drive to excel and curiosity to find opportunities to improve processes and team engagement Excellent executive presence coupled with the ability to communicate to all levels and functions Outstanding critical thinking capabilities and balancing strategic frameworks, tactical execution, and analytic rigor
