Job Description
Key Responsibilities - Design & develop data, software, & tech solutions to business questions.
- Pressure-test requirements for accurate delivery.
- Present & lead status to business stakeholders.
- Prepare & present data distributions to non-tech audiences.
- Compile & deliver accurate solution estimates.
- Define scope by understanding business needs with technology capabilities.
- Elicit requirements from ambiguous business needs.
- Challenge where needed.
- Execute the software development lifecycle for new builds/changes.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Must have a Bachelors degree in computer science, applied & computational mathematics, data science, management information systems, analytics or related field & 5 years of work experience in a combination of data analyst, business systems analyst &/or data engineering roles. Of experience required, must have: - 4 years analyzing or engineering data with Structured Query Language (SQL);
- 3 years gathering business requirements & preparing & presenting orally & in writing to supervisor, non-technology stakeholders, & peers in a matrixed organization;
- 1 year analyzing or transforming data with Python; &
- 1 year storing, processing, or analyzing data on cloud-based solutions.
Alternatively, would accept a Masters degree in computer science, applied & computational mathematics,data science, management information systems, analytics or related field & 1 year of work experience in a combination of data analyst, business systems analyst &/or data engineering roles. Of work experience required, must have 1 year in (i), (ii), (iii) & (iv). Experience may be gained concurrently.Company will accept any reasonable combination of education, training and work experience.
