The primaryresponsibilityof this position is toprovide financial leadership and business support for theFranchiseVcommercial team (VenclextaandPVEKbrands) in terms of budget and Alliance Management.Specifically, this positionis responsible forSG&Aforecasting, monitorization and reporting, for theVenclextaAlliance Management and Alliance Accounting and reporting activities, as well as for thePVEKrevenue forecasting and accounting andsales accounting.

In addition, this position isalsoresponsible for ensuring the accuracy of the financial statementsandthe associatedinternal controls.

This position will have1direct report and willbe responsible fortheir performance anddevelopment.

TheADinteracts with all levels ofFinanceteam and Commercial teamand business partnersto consolidateVenclextaandPVEKP&L, as well as theVenclextaalliance revenues, from an actual and forecasting perspective, contributing to the development of the necessary business analytics to support thedecision makingprocess,as wellto support all the AbbVie planning and reporting processes.

Major Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Internal Control

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close / reporting processes for SG&Aandrevenuesensuringaccurateandtimelyreporting of resultsin accordance withGAAP andinternalreporting requirements
• Develop effectiveSG&A andalliance revenue reporting, performancemonitorization, and support development of contingency plans as necessary to deliver results with clear and concise commentary
• Ensure SG&A investmentsoptimizemarketing mix (MMx)andPVEKlaunch investments are sufficiently funded, all while understanding the strategic trade-offs involved
• Understand the Risk and Opportunities throughout the yearwhile continuallymonitoringand adapting strategic tactics based on ongoing changes
• Oversee the preparation of all monthly collaboration transaction calculations, as part of the profit and cost sharingprocessforVenclexta
• Manage financial obligations shifts betweenGenentech& AbbVie andcollaborationandex-collaborationinvestments
• Lead theeffortsfor theGenentechcollaboration, ensuringappropriate collaboration-requiredreporting is completed

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Proactively lead the brand planning processes for SG&A andAlliance[Plan, LBE and LRP] ensuringaccurateandtimelyintegration of investment resourcing in the overall brand approach and ensuring senior management input to meet deadlines anddeliverables
• Ensurean efficientmanagement of the investments as per the annual budget defined by brand, and contribute with ideas and suggestions for funds re-allocation, based on business needs
• Accountable for generating, presenting, andmaintainingSG&A andAlliancerevenuesforecastsandwith a high degree of precision andinsight
• Ensure financial planning deliverables areaccurate,clear,and concise for Executive level review and approval
• Coordinate withGenentechs finance team to gain clear understanding of theiractualsand shared SG&A spendingforVenclextato ensureappropriate inclusionin the AbbVie planning cycles
• Ad-hoc analysisand scenario planningas requiredby the business

Strategic Business Partnership:

• Businesspartnerwith all relevantVenclextaandPVEKbusiness functions to develop and build strong relationships, ensuring full involvement in their financials to drive growth andprofitability.

People Leadership and Development:

• Responsible for delegating to and coaching of 1 direct report to ensurean optimallevel of support to the business and provide coaching and career development opportunities to sustain a high performing staff
• Drive a positive, productive, and inclusive culture
• Ensure full alignment with AbbVie Ways of workingand expected behaviors

Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Financerequired
• 8-10 years progressive accounting or finance experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability and desire to proactively searchoutforsolutions,identifyingandevaluatingbusinessrisks andopportunities
• Experience in leading and motivating a team in a dynamic business environment to successfully achieve results / deliverables
• Experience supporting senior operating management

Preferred:

• Multi-division experience and knowledge of the financial planning process
• Solid understanding of automated accounting/finance systems such as SAP, and BPC
