The Principal Email Developer is a new role within Providence's Digital Innovation Group responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic email experiences. This position focus on email development, coding, segmentation, personalization, and lead the department in a transition to AI driven practices of email content, design, and delivery.

The Principal Email Developer is accountable for the technical execution of Providence St. Joseph Health's marketing automation journeys - creating marketing automation strategies in digital marketing channels to create relevant, personalized, triggered campaigns that will drive increased customer acquisition and maximize lifetime value for existing PSJH customers.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.



• 8 years of experience working with a content management system.



• 7 years of HTML/CSS coding for complex emails and websites.



• 7 years of knowledge of email-specific coding libraries and frameworks (e.g., MJML).



• 7 years of use of email marketing automation platform (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).



• 7 years of experience using email testing and rendering tools (ex. Litmus, Email on Acid).

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).



• 1 year of experience using project management software such as Workfront, Asana or similar.



• 1 year of Stripo Content Software.
