Welcome Team - Greeter
Greets patients and guests and assists with their needs to get to their appropriate destination. Responsible for addressing problems, managing the drive and parking area, and providing valet parking service when necessary. ** Position starts at $16.50 per hour. **- Greets patients and guests appropriately and provides necessary information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Transports patients safely by ensuring that equipment is clean and in good repair, and by using proper transfer and transport techniques.
- Manages work area.
- Works as a part of the Patient Experience Office to help provide all aspects of services.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: Virginia Drivers License (VADL) preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently driving, traveling (distance greater than 1 mile) and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to push/pull >200lbs. Job is outdoors so seasonal exposure to weather elements. May be exposed to fumes, noise, outdoor climate, chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The starting base rate for this role is $16.50 hourly.
