14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
I was talking with a friend of mine, who explained that hate drinking water or much of any beverage as a matter of fact, he said with a shrug and as we continued further in our conversation, I learned that he had been in a hospital for dehydration.
I asked if him if he had been put in a hospital for not doing what the body requires, than why not at least drink something, that would help him not duplicate having to go back to the hospital and his response was “ I hate beverages”
I begin praying out loud and after doing so, my friend decided to at least drink juice, not wanting to hear my mouth.
I was lead to understand that even when we know what is needed for us, many times we just will not feed our selves the needed essentials so that we can gain the nourishment that is required, so with out delay I begin to pray that we as Christian understand the importance of drinking from the fountain of Jesus, so that we will not allow our selves to get sick, thus enabling the devil to use it against us.
Jesus wasn’t only taking about drinking water, but all of the things that are of material matters, which only bring temporary pleasure, but the living water that comes from God shall quench our thirst forever.
Keep drinking from the fountain of life and you shall always have a way to live abundantly
